The process of exploding an ideal vision in order to transform base elements into that ideal is eloquently expressed
in mosaics. By leading the pragmatic to the divine, everything broken is made whole again, and better—the mosaic
metaphor of life.
My style of art is eclectic and ever-evolving, my pieces are snapshots of this progression. I love the movement of
reflections, iridescence and color play, so I work with a wide variety of base materials—glass, porcelain, ceramics,
metal—and often my tiles are personally hand painted and glazed to enhance these attributes.
Many aspects of my background can be seen in my work. A formal education in art history has fostered infinite
inspiration. Experience in clothing and costume design, painting textiles and leather, interior design, home staging,
has developed both my interest and skill in creating functional, livable art.
I sell commissioned work to private clients as well as commercial venues, and I'm always happy to bring the ideal
visions of my patrons into reality.
